I first visited Nice in 2003 during a holiday from Australia (I am an
Australian of Hungarian ancestry). It was my first overseas holiday, and my strongest memories of Nice are of driving down the palm-tree lined Promenade des Anglais at the height of summer, feeling the energy and vitality of the city, dazzled by the blue of the sky and the sparkling water, and then ascending the stairs to the chateau, stunned by the glorious coastline laid out before me. Little could I have imagined that four years later, in 2007, I would move from Australia to London, and then four years after that I would buy an apartment in this beautiful city! |

During my time living in London, I have travelled extensively (over
43 countries and counting), but something keeps drawing me back to
France, and to Nice in particular. There is so much to see and do in this special corner of France, and Nice makes an ideal base from which to experience all that the Cote d'Azur has to offer. I try to spend as much time as I can in Nice, but between visits I also rent out my apartment so that others can experience what it's like to live here too. This is not a hotel - it is a home, in a building that is lived in by French residents. It is my beautiful home away from home, and I hope that during your stay you will feel like it is your home too. |
